Keukenhof Garden in Holland is the most beautiful spring garden in the world. More than seven million tulips, daffodils and hyacinths fill over 79 acres with color and fragrance. Let us vicariously walk you through this glorious garden. Four members of the Museum’s Garden Club visited the garden in Spring 2017 and photographed the spectacular scenery. Come and learn about the history of Keukenhof and how the world flocks to this incredible display. You may want to plan your trip to this spectacular garden very soon.
In keeping with our theme, we’ll be making “Bulb Buddies.” “Bulb Buddies” are made from colorful light bulbs (gotta love a gardening pun) and wire. We will decorate them to look like our favorite garden bugs that will keep our container plants company year-round. Please bring a pair of sturdy garden gloves to wear while handling the light bulbs.
Admission is $4.00 for museum members and $8.00 for non-members.
Please R.S.V.P. to gardenclub@sandyspringmuseum.org or call (301) 774-0022 ext. 145 and leave a message.
