Community Day

Olney Community Day was created to provide a platform for local businesses and organizations to showcase their products and services to the people living and working in the Olney area.

With completely free admission to the public, this staple community event is Montgomery County’s longest running business expo – this year marks its 42^nd year. Community Night will be rebranded as Community Day, since for the first time, it will take place on a Sunday afternoon (March 24).

 It was initially held at Longwood Community Center but later moved to Good Counsel, which provides ample space and plentiful free parking.

The event, the Chamber’s largest, features a wide variety of exhibitors, giveaways, entertainment, silent auction/raffles, and more. We encourage participation from every business to showcase what’s available in our local area.

It also includes The Taste & Toast of Olney, which features several local restaurants set up in the dining hall selling samples of their menu items.

Our hope is for attendees to meet these businesses face-to-face to get a better understanding of the wealth of small and large businesses available in our area, with the end mission being to support and strengthen our local economy.
