    Job Description

    POSITION DESCRIPTION At least 5 years of office experience in a small business office environment. Has the ability to maintain confidentiality, strong communications and people skills, detail, results and process oriented.  

    STATUS: Non-Exempt, Hourly, Part time


    ∙ RECRUITING: Responsible for all in‐processing to include reference checks, background checks, new hire paperwork, onboarding and help with employee relations as requested

    ∙ BENEFITS ADMINISTRATION: Responsible for benefits administration to include adding, changing and deleting employee information, reviewing invoices for accuracy, liaison, participate in the renewal process and open enrollment 

    ∙ PAYROLL PROCESSING: Review timesheets for accuracy and provide support to employees and process payroll bi‐weekly 

    ∙ EMPLOYEE RELATIONS: Maintain and update all HR processes and procedures (Desktop SOP) and HR Newsletter

    ∙ COMPLIANCE: Understand and adhere to all applicable federal, state & local laws to keep company in compliance

    ∙ DEVELOPMENT: Maintain assessments and performance evaluation forms and notify Managers of upcoming evaluations



    1. Experience with Quickbooks and Microsoft programs like Excel, Word, and Power Point.

    2. Ability to handle, in a controlled manner, dogs of any size and breed. Able to lift 40 lbs.
